Cubed Consultancy was born in January 2019 from a simple but pointed observation. Mark’s father Thomas looked at his son and his business partner and said: “Aren’t you two boys Chartered Accountants?” That one comment was all the encouragement Richard Colwell and Mark Munnelly needed.

Between them they bring decades of experience across accounting, tax, and business advisory — two people with different strengths who happen to work exceptionally well together. Richard brings his specialisms, Mark brings his specialisms, and together they built a firm that does things differently.

Different how? For a start, we actually get to know your business before we start talking about it. Not a tick-box exercise — a genuine conversation about where you are, what you are trying to build, and what is getting in the way. From that, we build advice that is specific to you, not recycled from the last client we saw.

We work with business owners, founders, and growing companies — people who are serious about their finances and want an accountant who is serious about their business. If that sounds like you, we would love to talk.

Our job is to stay close enough to your business that we spot the opportunities and the risks before you do. That might mean flagging a tax planning window six months before the year end, calling when we notice something unusual in your numbers, or simply checking in when we know you have something big coming up.
